We’re looking for an experienced HR professional to lead people operations in Belgium, with a key focus on supporting international mobility, expatriate processes, and HR compliance. This position requires a solid understanding of Belgian recruitment legislation, including hiring procedures, temporary employment frameworks, and onboarding regulations. It is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, adaptability, and people-first leadership in a fast-paced international environment.
What You’ll Do
Oversee day-to-day HR operations: contracts, onboarding, payroll coordination, and administration.
Manage international mobility workflows, including work permits, visas, housing, and relocations.
Ensure full compliance with Belgian labor laws, recruitment regulations, and collective labor agreements (CLAs).
Act as a liaison between Belgian operations and global HR/management teams.
Support recruitment and integration of international staff on Belgian projects.
Lead HR policy implementation, employee relations, and performance systems.
Promote a positive and inclusive company culture aligned with company values.
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with proven knowledge of international mobility processes.
Strong knowledge of Belgian recruitment law, labor legislation, and payroll procedures.
Experience in the construction or industrial sector is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and coordination skills in multicultural settings.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
