Introduction

We are looking for a top calibre HR Director for our Manufacturing client in Pinetown.  Will have a relevant Post Graduate Degree in HR/Business Admin preferred and 10+ years HR Management (at a senior level), very confident and experienced with dealing with Unions (striking etc), driving Employment Equity and BBBEE initiatives - with strong leadership and organisations skills.  Must have a strong knowledge of all relevant aspects labour legislation act, with strong people management experience.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

- HR strategy and leadership

- HR Operational and Employee Relations

- Recruitment and Onboarding

- Employee Relations (complex disciplinary hearings, grievances, restructuring, Union negotiations, Handling strikes etc)

- Employment Equity and BBBEE initiatives

- Talent Management

- Team management

Desired Experience & Qualification

Relevant Post Graduate qualification (HR/Admin etc)

10+ years Senior HR experience within a Manufacturing environment, dealing with Unions, BBBEE, Employment Equity, Talent Management, Employee Relations

Very strong understanding about SA Labour law

Strong people management experience (at a senior level)
