HR Director

Job Description/Role Summary

The HR Director will lead the overall people strategy, aligning HR initiatives with business goals. This role will oversee all HR functions and partner closely with senior leadership to build a high-performance, compliant, and engaging workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with organizational objectives

• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on people and culture matters

• Oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession planning

• Lead performance management, compensation, and benefits strategy

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies

• Drive employee engagement, DEI, and organizational development initiatives

• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes

• Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team

• Oversee HR systems, analytics, and reporting Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

• 15–20 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles

• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

• Proven experience influencing senior leadership

• Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills

• Experience in factory setup and HR operations; knowledge of Chinese language will be an added advantage
