JOB SUMMARY
The HR Director serves as both a strategic partner and operational executor for Keystone Management. This role combines high-level strategic thinking with direct, day-to-day involvement in HR operations. Executes on critical HR functions while providing leadership guidance and building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
The HR Director reports to the President & Chief Integration Officer and serves as the primary point of contact for all people-related initiatives, personally managing key HR deliverables while supporting Keystone's strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Operations
• Personally conduct high-level HR consulting while actively diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to support business goals
• Directly contribute to and execute the Company's strategic business plan and HR initiatives, taking ownership of key deliverables
• Serve as a hands-on coach and confidant to leaders, personally facilitating discussions on complex people challenges
• Lead organizational design efforts by personally analyzing structure, conducting assessments, and implementing changes
Operational Management
• Personally oversee benefits administration, including vendor management, enrollment processes, and employee communications
• Directly manage payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while personally resolving payroll issues
• Hands-on execution of compliance activities, including policy development, workplace investigations, and regulatory reporting
• Personally lead change management initiatives, facilitating workshops and directly communicating with affected employees
Project Leadership
• Take personal ownership of HR projects from conception through implementation
• Directly manage transformation efforts, personally facilitating change processes and stakeholder communications
• Hands-on leadership of special initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and organizational restructuring
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct supervisory responsibility for HR team members
• Personal involvement in recruitment, selection, and development of HR staff
• Hands-on performance management of direct reports
• Active participation in interview processes and candidate selection decisions
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 4 years in a hands-on leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field
• Proven track record of personally executing HR operations while providing strategic leadership
• Direct experience managing teams and personally delivering results through hands-on involvement
• Demonstrated ability to personally lead change initiatives and transformation efforts
• Expert-level relationship management skills with experience personally building stakeholder partnerships
Preferred Qualifications:
• SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification
• MBA or JD degree
• Direct experience managing PEO relationships for payroll and benefits
• Hands-on experience with Collective Bargaining Agreement interpretation and management
• Background in facilities management industry
• Experience working in or establishing an HR Center of Excellence
