As an HR Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role across a wide array of clients, gaining unparalleled exposure to organizations of all sizes and industries. Every day here brings something new—and an opportunity to shape the HR practices of our clients.

This position will be based in either Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta or Pittsburgh. While the position will be primarily remote, there may be an occasional need to attend in office meetings and events.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the trusted HR point-of-contact for multiple clients, building strong relationships with excellent communication and professionalism
  • Oversee leave administration (FMLA, state leave, short-term disability)
  • Support full-cycle onboarding: background checks, offer letters, employment forms, and more
  • Maintain and manage employee records and HR databases
  • Conduct phone screens and exit interviews for clients as needed
  • Respond promptly to employment verifications, unemployment requests, and monitor and manage our hotline and support mailbox
  • Track and report key HR metrics like LOA activity and compliance documentation
  • Partner with managers and business owners on HR policies, processes, and basic employee relations
  • Stay current on multi-state employment laws and HR best practices
  • Log client communications for seamless billing and service tracking
What You Bring:
Required:
  • 3+ years of recent HR experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Rock-solid Microsoft Office skills—especially Outlook and Excel
  • Unshakeable confidentiality, extreme attention to detail, and grace under pressure
  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a client-first attitude
  • Problem solving and self-starter approach
  • Familiarity with HRIS/payroll platforms and leave/benefits administration
  • Solid grasp of key employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.)
Preferred:
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) or Bachelor's in HR or related field
  • Experience in shared services or consulting environment
