We are looking for a Senior HR leader (with 10+ years of experience in HR) with an entrepreneurial spirit, who is eager to join a team of like-minded individuals at our fantastic fractional HR firm. You would be joining a fun, hardworking, remote and flexible team that is laser-focused on being difference-makers, helping organizations reach their growth goals.

About the role:
The HR Business Partner role is a consulting role within Castle HR. The Consultant shall provide strategic HR consulting services to Castle HR’s clients, delivering high-impact solutions that align with business objectives, drive high-performance teams, improve employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices.

About this Opportunity

Castle HR has provided fractional HR support to over 200 Canadian companies. That experience lets us provide proven modern HR processes to our clients. Each HR Business Partner guides their portfolio along their growth trajectory by applying Castle HR’s modern HR approach.


We are always looking to improve HR practices (including our own!) and expand our offering. In this role, we’ll be looking to you for ideas and suggestions based on your considerable experience and expertise.


Using Castle’s Modern HR processes, you will help your clients by:

  • Providing expert HR advice; managing relationships and proactively supporting the clients
  • Providing strategic HR leadership
  • Working on Talent Strategy & Organizational Design
  • Solidifying HR Compliance and Employee Lifecycle
  • Helping clients make data-driven decisions


Extra Credit if you have:

  • Minimum 10 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Extensive experience working with senior leadership (C-suite).
  • Experience working with software and/or professional services companies.
  • HR consulting experience.
  • Experience in analytics, big data and AI tools.

  • Virtual Interview with Tom Nickalls, Founder and CEO of Castle HR.
  • Video Call with Castle HR’s High Performance Coach.
  • Technical Interview with one of Castle HR’s senior Consultants.
  • A decision is communicated and an offer is extended (successful applicants only).
  • Reference checks.
