We are partnering with OnDeck to appoint a Head of People & Culture — a senior, hands-on leader who can own the people function, support business growth, and help create bright futures for OnDeck's people, customers, and business.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the CEO, you'll lead the People & Culture function end to end.
This is a role with real influence — working closely with the executive team across workforce planning, culture, leadership, performance, talent, compliance, and organisational effectiveness.
You'll be strategic to shape the roadmap, commercial to align people priorities with business outcomes, and hands-on enough to make things happen.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
People strategy - Develop and deliver a practical People & Culture strategy aligned to OnDeck's growth plans, values, and commercial priorities.
Executive Partnership - Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team across workforce planning, organisational capability, culture, performance, and people risk.
Employee Engagement - Lead initiatives that strengthen OnDeck's high-performance, inclusive, and values-led culture, including engagement activity and Best Places to Work.
Performance and Capability - Coach leaders, support performance frameworks, build leadership capability, and drive succession and development initiatives.
Talent and workforce planning - Partner with leaders to identify future workforce needs, capability gaps, and critical roles, while managing OnDeck's RPO relationship to deliver strong hiring outcomes.
Employee Relations and Compliance - Provide clear, practical guidance on employee relations, performance, conduct, policies, contracts, compliance, and workplace obligations.
Sales Performance Support - Partner with the CEO and Sales Leadership team to support a high-performance sales culture, including workforce structures, quota management, coaching, and underperformance.
