Talent Acquisition
Description

As our new Group Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving our global talent agenda, with accountability for the entire recruitment lifecycle — from attraction to onboarding. You’ll help shape and deliver our Talent projects, including Employer Value Proposition (EVP) initiatives, onboarding experience enhancements, and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) optimisation, ensuring Scott Bader continues to attract, engage, and retain the best talent to drive our business forward.

You will collaborate and communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, whilst proposing and supporting ongoing improvements to our TA strategy and systems to achieve positive, future-focused hiring outcomes.

Some of your key responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Talent projects such as EVP development, onboarding process improvements, and ATS optimisation to enhance our overall candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Source passive candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms and professional networks), utilising expert knowledge and writing skills to ensure all adverts and content are optimised across marketing channels.
  • Proactively source, engage with, and build a pipeline of specialist talent — collaborating with stakeholders and HR colleagues to develop strategies for reaching hard-to-find talent.
  • Manage applicants through the entire recruitment process — from initial enquiry, shortlisting, interview coordination, to onboarding — ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout.
  • Support talent acquisition programmes addressing current skills shortages and resourcing challenges, including organising (and attending) promotional events and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Create engaging recruitment campaigns that support our Diversity & Inclusion goals and deliver a memorable recruitment experience.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

  • You are an experienced TA professional with a passion for continuous improvement and project delivery.
  • You’re data-driven, commercially aware, and have a strong eye for talent.
  • You have experience hiring across a global business and can tailor your approach to meet country-specific needs.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM or other ATS systems is desirable, as system and process improvements will be a key focus of this role.
  • Above all, you’re a culture-first recruiter who’s passionate about developing and embedding a consistent and engaging EVP and onboarding journey across Scott Bader.

What’s in it for me?

  • A competitive salary alongside inclusion into our company bonus scheme. Our Group Staff Bonus & Profit Performance Pay bonus scheme reinforces the Scott Bader principle of working together for a common goal and sharing in our successes.
  • Enhanced employer pension contribution whereby Scott Bader will contribute a maximum of 2x your contribution, up to a maximum of 10%.
  • Private medical insurance alongside a host of further discounts and employee benefit schemes.
  • 25 days annual leave entitlement plus Bank Holidays – We also offer the opportunity to purchase an additional 5 day’s annual leave in case you need a couple of extra days.
  • We offer all our employees one full day per year to complete volunteering work of your choice which is fully paid. Alongside this, if you are thinking about fundraising for your favourite charity or local community event, we will happily match the funds that you have raised up to a maximum of £1000 in any one year.
  • Our Head Office sits within 44 acres of Northamptonshire countryside, nestled within the village of Wollaston. Access to free onsite car parking, electric car charging points, discounted cafeteria and even an onsite swimming pool.
