Job Summary:
The Group HR Director serves as a
key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and
executing a high-impact people strategy that supports the long-term vision of
the group. This role provides strategic direction and oversight for all
human capital initiatives across multiple subsidiaries and business entities,
fostering a culture of performance, innovation, and accountability.
The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking
HR leader who brings both global perspective and local execution, capable
of aligning people capabilities with the group’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. People Strategy & Organizational
Design
- Define and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the
group’s overall business objectives and growth agenda.
- Lead group-level organizational design, workforce planning, and
talent architecture across diverse industries or subsidiaries.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Board and senior executives
on organizational effectiveness, leadership succession, and people risk.
2. Culture, Change & Leadership
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives across the group to
support high performance, accountability, and agility.
- Build strong leadership pipelines through strategic talent
development, succession planning, and executive coaching.
- Lead change management strategies during key organizational
transitions such as expansions, or restructuring.
3. Governance, Compliance & Risk
- Develop and standardize HR governance frameworks, policies, and
processes across all subsidiaries, ensuring local compliance and global
best practices.
- Monitor and mitigate people-related risks, including regulatory
risks, reputational risks, and workforce disruptions.
- Ensure ethical standards, employee relations practices, and
grievance mechanisms are in place and aligned with corporate governance.
4. Talent Acquisition, Capability
Building & Retention
- Establish an employer brand strategy that positions the group
as a top employer across sectors.
- Oversee senior-level recruitment and strategic talent acquisition
programs across the group.
- Build capability frameworks that support digital
transformation, innovation, and cross-functional agility.
5. Compensation, Reward &
Performance Strategy
- Design and implement executive compensation, benefits, and
long-term incentive programs tied to business performance.
- Promote a performance-driven culture through robust KPIs, and
reward mechanisms that align with business outcomes.
- Benchmark reward strategies to maintain competitiveness in
local and international markets.
6. HR Technology & Analytics
- Lead the group’s digital HR transformation through
implementation of integrated HR systems (HCM platforms, data dashboards,
etc.).
- Use people analytics to deliver insights and drive strategic
decisions around workforce trends, engagement, and productivity.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
Organizational Development, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 5+
years in a Group or Corporate HR role.
- Demonstrated success in driving business-aligned HR strategy in
complex, matrix or multi-industry environments.
- Experience working with executive teams and boards of
directors.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is an
advantage.
