Opportunity

As the Fundraising Experience Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in delivering a remarkable supporter experience. As the first point of contact for many of our fundraisers and donors, you'll ensure every interaction is warm, professional and impactful. This role is perfect for someone beginning their career in fundraising or the not-for-profit sector who is passionate about people, storytelling and community engagement.

As part of the Fundraising Experience & Operations team, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across Community Fundraising & Growth, Campaigns & Products, Philanthropy, Individual Giving and Strategic Growth Partners to deliver a consistently positive experience for key fundraising audiences. Exposed to all disciplines of fundraising, this is a fantastic hands-on learning opportunity with space for you to own your own portfolio of fundraising accounts.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver excellent customer service across multiple channels (phone, email, LiveChat) to fundraisers, donors and the general public
  • Provide proactive, outbound stewardship and support to a portfolio of fundraisers, including participants in the World’s Greatest Shave
  • Help deliver exceptional fundraising journeys through personalised supporter engagement
  • Attend and support fundraising events or community activities as required
  • Assist with the processing of donations and issuing receipts in line with policy and compliance requirements
  • Support the accurate and timely administration of supporter data using CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Uphold compliance with Australian fundraising regulations and internal standards

What we are looking for:

  • Passion for the not-for-profit sector and delivering great supporter experiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Friendly and professional phone manner
  • Confidence in learning and using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail
  • Collaborative team spirit and a proactive approach to work

It's a bonus if you have:

  • Experience in customer service or administration
  • Familiarity with fundraising campaigns or events
  • Understanding of compliance in fundraising or data protection
