The Experienced Commercial Carpenter will be responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry tasks on ground\-up commercial construction projects. This position requires strong knowledge of commercial building processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.<\/span>

  • Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial construction sites<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and metal framing<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Layout for walls, floors, ceilings, and framing systems<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Install doors, frames, hardware, cabinetry, and trim<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Ensure work meets building codes and safety standards<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Maintain a clean and safe job site<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and other trades<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

    Requirements<\/h3>

  • Minimum 3–5+ years of commercial carpentry experience<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Experience with ground\-up commercial construction required<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Strong understanding of commercial building methods and materials<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Experience with metal stud framing and concrete formwork preferred<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Reliable transportation<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • OSHA certification preferred<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>
