Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a data-driven employer branding strategy aligned with Mercari’s EVP and global brand voice
  • Create employee-led content for LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and internal platforms
  • Curate seasonal and cultural campaigns (e.g., Diwali, Women in Tech)
  • Manage blog and newsletter storytelling initiatives
  • Collaborate with HR to craft compelling job posts and recruitment communications
  • Optimize job listings for visibility, engagement, and brand consistency
  • Support branding for tech meetups, livestreams, and community events
  • Promote leadership visibility through executive-led storytelling and thought leadership
  • Design programs that reinforce Mercari’s core values: Go Bold, All for One, Be a Pro, Move Fast 
  • Celebrate employee milestones such as anniversaries and onboarding with branded experiences
  • Conduct semi-annual market analysis and brand performance reviews
  • Use insights to refine strategy and improve ROI across employer branding channels
  • Manage relationships with PR agencies and creative vendors
  • Oversee production of branded video and audio content for internal and external use

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strategic thinker with 3+ years of experience in employer branding, marketing, or communications
  • Digital native fluent in social media platforms, SEO, and content creation tools
  • Storyteller and analyst capable of crafting compelling narratives and measuring impact
  • Collaborative leader who builds trust across cross-functional and global teams

This is a contract role based in Bangalore with a hybrid workstyle—2 days in-office, 3 days remote. We offer full flextime, allowing you to choose your hours outside of team syncs. We encourage in-office collaboration, especially during our growth phase.
