JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Human Resource Manager, the Employee Experience Coordinator supports initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellness, recognition, total rewards and onboarding. This role helps foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by managing recognition and wellness programs, organizing employee and community employee events, and coordinating the logistics for monthly new hire orientation. This position plays a key role in creating meaningful employee experiences that reinforce CHN’s culture, values, and commitment to being an employer of choice.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Employee Recognition & Total Rewards: Develops and manages employee recognition programs for birthdays, work anniversaries, and Employee of the Month, ensuring timely and meaningful acknowledgment of employee milestones. Collaborates with leadership to foster a culture of appreciation across all departments. Researches and recommends enhancements to employee benefits, recognition, and reward programs that support recruitment, engagement, and retention goals, aligning total rewards initiatives with organizational strategy and employee needs.
Wellness Program Coordination: Plan and implement wellness initiatives such as fitness challenges, mental health awareness campaigns, and educational workshops. Works with the benefits administrator and clinical staff to determine key focus areas. Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver accessible and engaging resources. Evaluate participation and program impact and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
New Hire Orientation: Coordinate all logistics for monthly new hire orientation, including preparing materials, scheduling sessions, and collaborating with department representatives. Attend each orientation to ensure smooth experience and provide on-site support for new employees. Serve as a welcoming point of contact for new hires during their onboarding process.
Engagement Events: Plans, coordinates, and executes employee engagement events and activities such as Hospital Week, summer celebrations, appreciation events, and other organizational gatherings that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Responsibilities include managing logistics such as scheduling, communications, setup, materials, and vendor coordination to ensure events are well-organized and aligned with CHN’s mission and values. This role also gathers feedback and participation data to evaluate event and program effectiveness and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
Employee Engagement and Survey Administration: Coordinates the administration of employee engagement initiatives, including the planning, communication, and distribution of various surveys. This includes conducting and analyzing organization-wide engagement surveys, as well as 30-, 60-, and 90-day new hire surveys to assess onboarding effectiveness and early employee experience. The role also manages exit interviews and other periodic or pulse surveys to gather feedback throughout the employee lifecycle. Data and feedback are compiled, analyzed, and summarized into reports and presentations for leadership review to identify trends, measure progress, and support action planning to enhance engagement, retention, and overall workplace culture.
Department Support: Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, including maintaining employee records and responding to inquiries. Work collaboratively with the HR team to implement strategies that enhance the overall employee experience.
