Position Summary

The Director of Talent Acquisition owns the company’s recruiting function end-to-end, from candidate sourcing through new hire onboarding. While the majority of hiring needs are high-volume, recurring roles, the Director is also responsible for specialty and leadership searches. This role leads a recruiting team, designs scalable processes, and ensures a consistent candidate experience across all positions. In addition, the Director manages recruitment marketing: optimizing job postings, managing job board spend, and building sourcing strategies to deliver on aggressive growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy & Leadership

  • Design and execute a company-wide talent acquisition strategy that balances high-volume hiring with specialty/executive searches.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the recruiting team to deliver consistently across multiple role types.
  • Partner with executives and department leaders to forecast hiring needs and workforce planning priorities.

High-Volume Recruiting Ownership

  • Build and manage the recruiting engine that delivers large numbers of recurring frontline hires.
  • Own the funnel from application through pre-start onboarding, minimizing candidate drop-off.
  • Track and report on throughput metrics (applications, interviews, offers, hires, time-to-start).
  • Implement automation and workflow improvements to increase efficiency at scale.

BCBA Hiring Strategy

  • Develop and execute tailored strategies for recruiting BCBAs, recognizing the competitive nature of the market.
  • Build pipelines through relationship-driven recruiting, networking, and community partnerships.
  • Manage BCBA-specific job postings, outreach campaigns, and professional association partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Clinical leadership to align BCBA role design, compensation positioning, and career path messaging.
  • Attend recruiting events as needed.
  • Track BCBA recruiting KPIs (time-to-fill, acceptance rate, relocation success, retention).

Specialty & Leadership Hiring

  • Oversee recruiting for other clinical, operational, and other roles as as needed.
  • Ensure hiring processes are tailored appropriately for senior-level and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Partner directly with executives on critical talent searches.

Recruitment Marketing & Sourcing

  • Optimize job postings and descriptions for applicant flow and candidate quality.
  • Manage budgets, bidding strategies, and vendor relationships across job boards and recruiting platforms.
  • Identify and scale effective sourcing channels (referrals, digital ads, professional associations, community partnerships).
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Communications to strengthen employer brand visibility.

Metrics & Accountability

  • Own KPIs such as hires per month, time-to-offer, time-to-start, quality of hire, cost-per-hire, and retention.
  • Provide regular reports to executive leadership on recruiting performance and sourcing ROI.
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance candidate experience, reduce drop-off, and accelerate hiring timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of progressive recruiting experience, including at least 3+ years leading a team.
  • Proven success scaling high-volume recruiting operations while also handling specialty or leadership searches.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, recruitment marketing, and job board optimization.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, process improvement, and communication skills.

Salary: Up to $120k
