The Town of Johnstown, Colorado is actively recruiting a Deputy Human Resources Director to be part of our dynamic and passionate team. The Deputy HR Director supports the HR Director in providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of HR, Risk Management, and Payroll functions. The role helps develop and implement HR practices and objectives that align department programs with the Town's guiding principles and strategic priorities. The Deputy also assists in executing Town Manager directives, supporting policy development, and coordinating interdepartmental initiatives. In the Director’s absence, the Deputy manages all departmental operations.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of HR Generalist experience enabling them to flex up or down to support ever-changing departmental needs.
Expected starting salary: $117,548 - $143,997, DOQ.
