Description

Associate (Maternity Cover) – Community & Engagement (C&E)

 

We are seeking a dedicated Community & Engagement Associate to join our team as a 12-month maternity cover. This role, based in London, will help to lead C&E initiatives across the EMEA region by working closely with the global teams in developing, implementing, and tracking progress tailored to the cultural and business landscape of EMEA.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Jefferies’ seven EMEA Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and the EMEA ERG Council, leading the development and execution of strategies that align with business initiatives. This includes stakeholders across UK and Continental European offices, ensuring alignment with local cultural norms. 
  • Partner with HR teams (e.g. Business Partners, Training & Development, Recruiting, etc.), and senior leadership across the business in the design, management, and execution of strategies that promote community and engagement throughout the organization. 
  • Work closely with the Global Head of C&E to prepare metrics and reports that highlight C&E initiatives, progress, and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with the global C&E team to collect and analyze metrics, including representation data, employee feedback, and the firmwide engagement survey. 
  • Conduct research and analysis on trends, challenges, and opportunities in the C&E space specific to EMEA. Stay well-informed of the latest EMEA regulatory updates impacting the C&E landscape. 
  • Serve as a resource for employees, providing guidance on fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Handle EMEA-based onsite logistics for ERG events, including room bookings, set-up, AV requests, vendor contracts and payments. 
  • Maintain accurate participation records and data management.

Requirements, Qualifications, and Desired Skills:

  • Minimum 5-years’ experience in Human Resources, and/or related Learning & Development, Community & Engagement, HR Analytics or Event Planning or related roles, preferably in an EMEA-focused capacity.
  • Exceptional project management skills with high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills; impeccable verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to project credibility, build trust, and deliver results.
  • Ability to engage effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
