As the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for our infrastructure plant, you will lead the HR, Industrial Relations (IR), and Legal functions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations while driving strategic HR initiatives. You will report directly to the CEO or Plant Manager and collaborate closely with senior management.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s strategic goals and business objectives.
- Advise and support the CEO and executive team on HR matters, including organizational design, talent management, and employee relations.
Talent Management:
- Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent.
- Implement performance management systems and succession planning to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
Organizational Development:
- Drive organizational change initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and employee engagement.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance.
Employee Relations:
- Ensure a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, managing conflict resolution, and fostering effective communication.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to employee conduct, performance, and benefits.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage risk related to HR practices, including handling investigations, grievances, and legal matters.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Design and oversee compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
- Monitor market trends and adjust programs as needed to remain competitive and aligned with company objectives.
HR Operations:
- Oversee the HR team and manage the day-to-day HR
operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.
- Implement and optimize HR processes to enhance
efficiency and effectiveness.
Diversity and Inclusion:
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within
the workplace.
- Develop and implement programs to foster a
diverse and inclusive organizational culture.
Change Management:
- Lead organizational change initiatives and
ensure effective communication and engagement strategies.
- Support
the company in adapting to changes in the business environment and workforce
dynamics
Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: MBA
or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR
experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to drive organizational change and manage complex
HR issues.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and
industry trends.
- Demonstrated experience in talent management,
compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
