Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking an Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join our friendly, hard-working team.

  • This is a salaried, exempt, full-time position, Monday-Friday
  • There will be special events the CHRO needs to attend
  • Healthcare knowledge preferred
  • The base salary starts at $120,000/year (based on experience)

Our Desired Candidate Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or Psychology.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Specialized training in organizational planning, compensation, and preventive employee and labor relations.
  • SPHR or similar certification preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years' Human Resource experience in healthcare preferred, with at least two (2) plus years in leadership.
  • Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development.
  • Well-developed administrative skills.
  • Strong management skills-principles and people.
  • High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible.
  • Participative management style.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Results oriented with sound business judgment.
