Job Goal
Provide strategic oversight and operational leadership for the financial and human resources functions of Central Rivers AEA. Responsible for all fiscal operations, business services, HR compliance, personnel administration, labor relations, and contract managment. Ensures efficient, accurate, and legally compliant systems that support the agency's mission, core values, and strategic plan.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, Educational Administration, or related field.
2. Appropriate licensure/endorsements from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners for School Business Official authorization (or ability to obtain).
3. Successful experience in school/AEA administration, business management, fiscal operations, human resources leadership, peronnel managment or labor relations.
4. Demonstrated preparation and experience in finance, HR systems, and/or organizational operations.
5. Familiarity with public education, Iowa school finance, and HR regulatory frameworks preferred.
6. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
