Role Description:
As a Campus Recruiter, you will be joining a global team whose focus is to provide an excellent candidate experience for Junior and intern hires into the business across the company's global footprint.
The Campus Recruiter supports in managing a range of recruitment activities including attracting and selecting graduates and interns across our various sectors. Reporting into the Early Careers Manager, you will support in identifying Arcadis’ future workforce and meeting the businesses demands, whilst ensuring the best possible candidate experience. You will work across our business areas and sectors delivering the best talent across several disciplines into the business: including Engineering, Project Management, Consulting, Environmental Specialisms etc.
This is a fast-paced role with multiple stakeholders and a focus on candidate experience and keeping us as an employer of choice within the Early Careers market.
Role Accountabilities:
As an Early Careers Campus Recruiter, you will be responsible for;
- Work closely with and become a trusted advisor to hiring managers and key stakeholders across the NL and Europe business as appropriate. Giving them regular updates on their pipelines and market data as needed to keep them informed throughout the recruitment cycle as well as guiding them through the process to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Sourcing and managing pipelines for multiple graduate and intern opportunities being hired into the business. Including but not limited to screening candidates’ applications, updating the ATS and completing candidate Reasonable Adjustment screening calls and feedback calls following interviews.
- Support and maintain excellent data on candidates throughout the process, utilising full capability of the ATS and making data driven suggestions of future events and activities to feed into the campus hiring strategy.
- Supporting with the attraction of Early Careers roles through university postings, LinkedIn posts, supporting at and running events as well as building a network of academic contacts for hard to fill or niche roles.
- Organise interviews in partnership with the TA Shared Service, ensuring we have the right number and profile of assessors for the candidates in attendance. Collate feedback from the assessors and provide timely updates to candidates.
- Full Offer management, including making the verbal offer and supporting on the issue of the offer through the system and People Services, as well as managing onboarding activities to mitigate reneges of offers.
- Supporting in-country and global programmes such as the Internship programme; from leading on the intern welcome through to providing learning updates and courses and collating feedback at the end of the programme.
- Ad hoc support for other Early Careers initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- You will have some experience of working within an Early Careers role, ideally with experience of high-volume, high paced recruitment.
- You will be able to evidence a focus on ensuring a candidate centric experience and ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Be happy to positively challenge the norm and accepted ways of working. Evidencing a continuous improvement mindset to assist us in our journey.
- Driven and determined, yet empathetic to the needs of the various stakeholders you encounter throughout the recruitment process.
- A passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion throughout all aspects of early careers.
- You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working).
