We are seeking an experienced and strategic People and Culture Business Partner to join our Energy & Utilities business.
As a trusted advisor to your assigned portfolio, you will oversee, manage, and support business success through the effective delivery, execution, and implementation of People & Culture services, programs, and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic P&C partner to business leaders, aligning people initiatives with business objectives
- Translate business strategy and line-of-business people plans into effective P&C interventions, considering diverse business cultures and operational constraints
- Provide strategic P&C insight and ensure solutions are aligned to the broader E&U people agenda
- Collaborate with functional P&C specialists to drive successful business outcomes through proactive information sharing and strong stakeholder relationships
- Contribute to the design and strategic direction of the operational P&C plan, identifying and delivering actions that support business objectives
- Lead and implement local P&C initiatives that enable performance and growth
- Administer approved HR policies and programs, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, company standards, and internal processes
What we are looking for
- Five years relevant experience
- Background in utilities sector or blue collar industry desirable
- Demonstrated experience in a similar or senior advisor role with experience gained in a complex operating environment
- Experience in supporting unionised workforce highly desirable
- Experience in the support of IR/ER processes
- Experience in providing effective operational P&C advice and support to leaders on issues including policy interpretation, building talent
- Proven experience working to tight time frames in a changing environment and ability to work under pressure and manage stakeholder expectations
- Proven experience to deliver on time and close out operational P&C matters
- Experience in engaging with the business and the ability to contribute as part of a team to develop the operational P&C solutions
