Primary functions & responsibilities
The Talent Development Associate will have a unique opportunity to be responsible for a core project as well as staffed across projects to allow project ownership as well as broader exposure to both projects and teams across the organization.
Core project responsibilities would include:
Firmwide performance management and promotion processes – including systems administration, communications, training, reporting and analytics.
Online learning programming – including responsibility for Ares’ Learning Management System, external libraries of self-directed resources, annual anti-harassment training, and additional internal training.
Examples of additional supplemental projects could include:
Learning & development, including customized training – supporting the development, delivery and analysis of efficacy across a variety of training events.
Talent development operations and marketing – supporting Talent Development’s operations such as budgeting, contracting and invoicing, team email box monitoring and systems administration as well as its outreach across the firm with marketing efforts.
Employee engagement survey and strategy – supporting the design and delivery as well as the reporting and analysis of results.
Community engagement – supporting a variety of community engagement events globally.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience Required:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in a Talent Development / Learning & Development function
Prior financial services or professional services industry experience is a plus

Is dependable, has a great attitude and is highly motivated
Exhibit strong PPT skills and foundational Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Demonstrate comfort in leveraging data to analyze impact and outcomes
Stay abreast of best practices in the industry and field of Talent Development / Performance Management
Be flexible (in terms of hours) to be able to coordinate with team members across various time zones

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$100,000-$120,000
