Associate Manager, People Operations

We have an opportunity for a hybrid Associate Manager, People Operations based in Mexico City, reporting to the Senior Manager, People Operations. In the pivotal role, you’ll oversee the People Operations team supporting all regions. Collaborating closely with HRBPs, global HR teams, and other business leaders, you’ll drive operational excellence, coach and develop team members, and lead process improvement initiatives to deliver outstanding employee services.

Be a Contributor – What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and mentor the People Operations team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth
  • Oversee HR ticket management in ServiceNow (Ask HR), ensuring timely and accurate responses to tier-1 core HR, benefits, and absence inquiries
  • Manage and optimize transactions in Oracle HCM Cloud, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
  • Lead the development and maintenance of clear, scalable documentation for HR processes, ensuring alignment with global policies and procedures
  • Champion the build-out and enhancement of the ServiceNow knowledge center, ensuring information is current, accessible, and valuable for all employees · Provide specialized support and ensure compliance for all regions, addressing local regulations and cultural considerations
  • Drive HR projects focused on process optimization, technology improvements, and employee experience enhancements
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in all HR-related data and systems
  • Support audit requests and ensure HR data and processes meet relevant regional regulations
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with HRBPs, global HR teams, and other stakeholders

Be Prepared – What You Bring

  • 8-12 years of experience in HR operations, shared services, HRIS, or HR support, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and a passion for developing and motivating teams
  • Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow, Oracle HCM Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Expertise in HR systems, analytics tools, and process automation
  • Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements at scale
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working with HRBPs and global teams
  • In-depth understanding of global labor laws, HR practices, and cultural nuances
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; advanced certifications preferred

Six Months:

  • Seamlessly oversee HR ticket management and Oracle HCM Cloud transactions, ensuring team meets established SLAs
  • Establish yourself as the go-to leader for tier-1 HR support across the globe
  • Drive process improvements and knowledge center enhancements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Build strong partnerships with HRBPs, regional teams, and People Ops colleagues

One Year:

  • Be recognized as a reliable, proactive leader for People Operations, with strong relationships across HR and regional teams
  • Lead successful build-out and maintenance of the knowledge center, ensuring employees have easy access to accurate resources
  • Champion significant process optimization initiatives, driving efficiency and enhancing employee experiences
