Assistant ‐ Talent Acquisition ‐ Service Delivery (1 year contract)

(BASED AT MAS LEGATO - MALABE)

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to ensure all operational activities related to the Talent Acquisition Service Delivery Team , both locally and internationally are driven and implemented in a timely and effective manner based on SLAs/KPIs, whilst contributing towards identifying / executing process improvement opportunities, driving and achieving a performance driven culture through all internal & external stakeholders, thereby attaining a high level of stakeholder satisfaction, meeting business and operations excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work on the process of Recruitment Requisition Form (RRF) validation & advertising, candidate sourcing & screening, candidate selection, job offer and pre-boarding/onboarding formalities. 
  • Liaise with Heads of Department (HODs)/ Hiring Managers and relevant parties on forecasting manpower requirements, thereby engaging in developing recruitment strategies/ policy deployment.
  • Planning and scheduling 1st to final interview and post interview process in a timely and effective manner, thereby successfully hiring the most suitable candidate/s for the identified vacancy/vacancies and fulfilling the manpower requirement.
  • Ensure to process all recruitment requests via Recruitment Requisition Form process (RRFs) and the corresponding JDs. 
  • Work on drafting recruitment specs and advertisements which includes liaising with MAS Corporate Solutions/ Advertisement agencies and obtaining relevant approvals prior to commencing the advertising and recruitment/hiring process.
  • Conduct the screening and shortlisting process by evaluating applications received based on minimum criteria required to perform the job whilst, verifying applicant’s details and verifying documentation and completing other standard protocols.
  • Schedule and conduct standard assessments relevant to the vacancy, whilst liaising with identified HODs for technical specific assessments and engaging in the evaluation process and completing other standard protocols in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct reference/ clearance checks on the shortlisted candidates whilst, liaising with respective HODs / Hiring Managers and other persons to verify information provided by the candidates.
  • Ensure relevant documents are duly filed and handed over to the team to prepare and issue appointment letters and other necessary documentation/ logistics.
  • Communicate the final Job offer to the selected candidates approved by the HOD/ HR.
  • Ensure to report and maintain key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity related to the post interview process.
  • Ensure a smooth Preboarding and Onboarding program is planned for candidates and new recruits.
  • Develop and maintain cordial relationships with government officials Universities/Institutes/Professional Bodies and follow up closely with same to attract the best talent. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 

  • Pursuing or completed a degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 1 year of experience in Recruitment or Staffing.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Good time management skills with IT literacy.
