Role Overview:
The Employer Branding Apprentice supports Fortrea’s employer branding efforts by applying marketing, content, and storytelling skills to help position Fortrea as an employer of choice.
This role is ideal for candidates with early hands‑on exposure to content, media, or design, who are keen to learn how Talent Acquisition functions and how employer branding operates at the intersection of TA, marketing, and communications in a global, science‑led organization.
Apprenticeship Assignment Summary:
Employer Branding & Content
- Support the creation of employer brand content across digital channels, including LinkedIn, career site, and internal communication platforms
- Assist in developing messaging, visuals, and rich media content aligned with Fortrea’s employer brand and EVP
- Support employee storytelling initiatives by helping draft, curate, and organize written and visual content
- Ensure all content is accurate, on‑brand, and reflects Fortrea’s culture, values, and purpose
Campaign & Program Support
- Support employer branding campaigns by applying marketing principles to talent attraction initiatives
- Assist in coordinating content calendars, campaign execution, and asset management
- Work with stakeholders across Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, and Communications to ensure consistent messaging
Understanding Talent Acquisition
- Learn how Talent Acquisition functions across sourcing, recruitment marketing, candidate experience, and employer brand
- Apply marketing and communication skills to support hiring priorities and talent messaging
- Gain exposure to how employer branding influences attraction, conversion, and reputation
Research, Insights & Measurement
- Support basic analysis of content and campaign performance
- Assist with research on employer branding trends, competitors, and best practices
- Organize insights and learning summaries to support reviews and planning
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, Visual Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or related fields
Experience (Minimum Required):
- 0 to 11 Months with some hands‑on exposure to Content creation, messaging, design, or rich media (academic, freelance, internship, or personal projects)
- Strong interest in employer branding, storytelling, and brand communication
- Willingness to learn how Talent Acquisition functions and how employer branding supports hiring and reputation
- Clear written communication skills and attention to detail
Competencies:
- Exposure to journalism, content writing, copywriting, or digital media
- Experience executing projects as part of: Academic coursework, Freelance or independent work, Internships or early professional roles
- Ability to share a portfolio, samples, or project work to demonstrate capability
- Familiarity with creating or supporting visual, video, or digital content
