Role Overview:
The Channel L&D Head for Bancassurance Partners (Other than PNB) & Alternate Channels will be
responsible for strategizing, designing, and executing training initiatives aligned with business goals and
various bancassurance partnerships. This role focuses on building skillsets of the sales forces across
hierarchies in these channels, enhancing productivity, ensuring retention, promoting technology adoption,
and developing a robust training team.
Strategic Planning & Alignment:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy tailored to the PNB Bancassurance channel,
ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and the PNB partnership.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify training needs across various levels—frontline staff,
supervisors, and PNB bankers.
• Design training roadmaps that address identified needs, focusing on enhancing sales effectiveness and
customer engagement.
Training Design & Delivery:
• Oversee the creation of customized training modules, incorporating blended learning approaches
(classroom, e-learning, on-the-job training).
• Ensure training content is up-to-date, relevant, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Implement programs aimed at improving new joiner productivity and reducing time-to-performance.
Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of RTH/RTMs & trainers, fostering a culture of continuous learning
and high performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and identifying opportunities for professional
growth.
• Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the training team.
Technology & Innovation:
• Drive the adoption of digital learning platforms and tools to enhance training accessibility and
effectiveness.
• Stay abreast of emerging L&D technologies and methodologies, integrating innovative solutions into the
training framework.
• Leverage data analytics to measure training impact and inform continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with PNB stakeholders, ensuring training initiatives support
joint business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate training efforts with broader organizational
strategies.
• Represent the L&D function in meetings with internal and external partners, articulating the value and
impact of training programs
Requirements
Skills/Knowledge:
• Professional certifications in Training & Development are advantageous.
• Proven track record in leading L&D functions within the Life Insurance industry, specifically in
Bancassurance channels.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, customer engagement strategies, and regulatory requirements
in the insurance sector.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology for training delivery and management.
