Employer Branding Jobs in Singapore: Roles, Skills and Career Opportunities

Singapore has real, current employer branding hiring activity across fintech, professional services, logistics, telecoms and e-commerce, but dedicated "Employer Branding" titles are still a minority of the roles doing this work. Most employer branding activity in Singapore sits inside generalist HR, internal communications or marketing communications roles rather than a standalone title, and a meaningful share of the dedicated titles that do exist are internship or entry-level positions rather than career roles.

This guide covers what the local market actually looks like, which sectors are hiring, what to search for given how inconsistently the work is titled, and what to expect on pay.

The local market snapshot

Current Singapore listings for employer branding roles span a genuinely wide range of sectors: fintech (Airwallex has run a Senior Employer Branding Partner role), Big 4 professional services (EY and Deloitte both list employer branding-related internships), port and logistics (PSA International), telecoms (Singtel), e-commerce (Shopee), HR/staffing services (PERSOLKELLY, Dynamic Human Capital), and government-linked boards. Aviation has also run dedicated roles: Singapore Airlines has posted a standalone Manager, Employer Branding position, evidence that at least some large, mature Singapore employers do build out a dedicated function at manager level.

That range is a genuinely useful signal: employer branding hiring in Singapore isn't concentrated in one industry the way, say, programmatic recruitment marketing skews towards tech. It shows up wherever a large employer is competing hard for talent, which in Singapore spans financial services, professional services, logistics, government-linked entities and consumer tech about equally.

What titles to actually search for

A search for "employer branding" on Singapore job boards returns a real but comparatively small pool of dedicated-title roles, dominated at the more senior end by titles like "Employer Branding Partner," "Employer Branding Manager" and combined titles such as "Employer Branding & Talent Engagement." A larger share of what shows up is either internship-level ("Employer Branding Intern," often paired with social media or digital comms duties) or the work folded into a broader title: HR Executive, Internal Communications, Talent Acquisition, or Organisational Development roles that include employer branding as one responsibility among several.

The practical implication: search beyond the literal phrase "employer branding." Talent acquisition, internal communications, HR generalist and marketing communications listings at larger Singapore employers are worth checking directly for employer branding responsibilities buried in the description, not just relying on an exact-title search.

What this means for career building here

If you're aiming for a dedicated, standalone employer branding career track in Singapore specifically, expect fewer pure-play mid-career openings than in markets like the US or UK, and a genuine possibility that your first dedicated title will be an internship or a combined role rather than a standalone manager position. This is consistent with employer branding's relative immaturity as a discipline in much of the region, covered in more depth in our career path guide. It doesn't mean the work isn't happening. It means the work is more often absorbed into broader HR, comms or TA roles here than carved out as its own function, which is itself worth knowing before you go looking only for the exact job title.

Salary: a genuine data gap

As covered in our salary guide, no major salary aggregator (Glassdoor, PayScale, Indeed) currently publishes a dedicated Singapore figure for this title, and the regional recruiter salary guides checked don't break it out separately either. Benchmark against comparable HR or marketing manager bands at a given employer and adjust for actual scope, rather than relying on a title-specific number that doesn't yet exist in the public Singapore data.

What employers here are competing on

Randstad's 2025 Employer Brand Research, based on 2,522 Singapore respondents, found work-life balance to be the top motivator for talent in Singapore for the third year running (40%), ahead of growth and development opportunities (37%) and manageable workload (36%). Recognition, or the lack of it, was the most consistently cited demotivator across generations. For anyone doing employer branding work in Singapore, or applying to a role here, that's useful context: EVP messaging built around pay alone is competing against work-life balance and growth as the things Singapore-based talent actually says keeps them engaged.

Work pattern

Fully remote employer branding roles based in Singapore specifically are less common than hybrid arrangements; most listings reviewed for this guide were based in-office or hybrid rather than remote-first, consistent with broader hybrid-leaning norms across Singapore's large employers. Candidates specifically targeting remote-first roles may find more options by broadening the search beyond Singapore-based employers; see our remote employer branding jobs guide for what those postings tend to ask for.
