The Opportunity
We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Talent Acquisition Coordinator to become an integral part of our national Talent Acquisition team.
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll work closely with five Talent Acquisition Advisors and play a critical role in ensuring every candidate enjoys a seamless and professional experience throughout our recruitment process.
This is far more than a traditional recruitment administration role. You'll take ownership of the candidate journey from interview through to offer acceptance and onboarding, coordinating all pre-employment activities and acting as the primary point of contact for successful candidates as they prepare to join CPP.
You'll be the engine room of our Talent Acquisition function, managing the administrative processes, systems and coordination activities that enable our team to deliver exceptional hiring outcomes across Australia. From coordinating employment contracts, reference checks and pre-employment medicals, to arranging candidate travel, maintaining recruitment systems and supporting continuous process improvements, your contribution will be felt across every hire we make.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on organisation and detail, and genuinely cares about delivering outstanding service to candidates, hiring managers and colleagues. You'll join a collaborative and high-performing team that values initiative, continuous improvement and providing best-in-class recruitment support to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the candidate experience from post-interview through to offer acceptance and onboarding
- Coordinate large-scale recruitment campaigns, graduate recruitment programs and talent attraction activities
- Coordinate all pre-employment activities including reference checks, medicals, qualifications and compliance documentation
- Prepare and issue employment contracts and onboarding documentation
- Act as the primary point of contact for successful candidates throughout the pre-employment process
- Coordinate candidate travel and accommodation arrangements for interviews
- Maintain recruitment systems, trackers, databases and reporting to ensure accurate records and data integrity
- Manage the Talent Acquisition SharePoint page and support continuous improvement initiatives within the team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, HR administration or a similar customer-focused role
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- A genuine passion for delivering an outstanding candidate and stakeholder experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with candidates
- High proficiency across Microsoft Office and recruitment, HR or applicant tracking systems (bonus points for experience with SmartRecruiters)
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach with a strong commitment to continuous improvement
