About The Gig

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Talent Acquisition to lead and drive the organization’s talent acquisition strategy across technical and non-technical functions.

The role will involve partnering closely with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, develop hiring strategies, lead the recruitment team, build strong talent pipelines, and ensure timely closure of critical positions.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in end-to-end recruitment, stakeholder management, leadership hiring, employer branding, recruitment analytics, and team management, preferably within the automotive, EV, manufacturing, engineering, or technology sector.

What You’ll Do

  • Talent Acquisition Strategy
    • Develop and execute the overall talent acquisition strategy aligned with business and manpower plans.
    • Partner with business leaders and functional heads to understand current and future hiring requirements.
    • Drive workforce planning and recruitment forecasts in collaboration with HR and business teams.
    • Develop effective sourcing strategies for critical, niche, and high-volume requirements.
    • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for key and recurring positions.
  • End-to-End Recruitment
    • Lead end-to-end recruitment across automotive R&D, engineering, manufacturing, corporate, and support functions.
    • Drive hiring for mid-level, senior-level, and leadership positions.
    • Oversee sourcing through Naukri, LinkedIn, employee referrals, consultants, campus hiring, and other channels.
    • Ensure effective screening, assessment, interview coordination, selection, offer management, and onboarding.
    • Drive offer negotiations and improve offer-to-joining conversion.
    • Ensure recruitment activities are completed within defined TAT and hiring targets.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Act as a strategic recruitment partner to Business Heads, Functional Heads, and Hiring Managers.
    • Conduct regular hiring reviews and track open positions against agreed timelines.
    • Challenge and clarify hiring requirements where necessary to ensure quality and cost-effective recruitment.
    • Provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring trends.
    • Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external recruitment partners.
  • Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the Talent Acquisition team.
    • Allocate recruitment requirements based on workload, complexity, and recruiter capability.
    • Set individual and team-level recruitment targets and KPIs.
    • Review team performance and drive continuous improvement.
    • Build a high-performance recruitment culture focused on quality, speed, and candidate experience.
  • Recruitment Analytics & Governance
    • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics including:
      • Time to Hire
      • Time to Fill
      • Source of Hire
      • Offer-to-Joining Ratio
      • Cost per Hire
      • Hiring TAT
      • Quality of Hire
      • Recruitment Funnel Conversion
    • Prepare and present recruitment MIS and dashboards to leadership.
    • Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, databases, and documentation.
    • Establish standardized recruitment processes and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline
    • Drive employer branding initiatives across LinkedIn, job portals, campus programs, and other platforms.
    • Strengthen the company’s talent pool through networking and industry engagement.
    • Build relationships with engineering institutes, universities, professional communities, and talent networks.
    • Support campus hiring, recruitment drives, career fairs, and talent engagement initiatives.
  • Vendor & Recruitment Partner Management
    • Manage external recruitment consultants and hiring partners.
    • Evaluate vendor performance against agreed hiring targets and SLAs.
    • Negotiate commercial terms and ensure cost-effective recruitment.
    • Develop a strong external talent acquisition ecosystem for niche and critical requirements.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred.
  • 8-12 years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment, with proven experience in a managerial or team-lead role.
  • Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment and stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing recruitment teams and multiple hiring mandates.
  • Strong exposure to hiring across Engineering, Manufacturing, Automotive, EV, Technology, and Corporate functions is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Naukri, LinkedIn, ATS platforms, recruitment tools, and sourcing channels.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, dashboards, and MIS reporting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and high-growth organization.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks.
