Please review the following job description:

As a member of the Wholesale Teammate Enablement Team, this leader will manage the Early Talent Program for our Investment Bank, Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, Truist Asset Finance and Wholesale Credit Delivery. This leader will be responsible for the overall program, which includes developing a talent plan with each LOB, organizing and executing the training and development approach, and helping ensure strong retention of Analysts and Associates. This leader will work across the Early Talent team in Wholesale Teammate Enablement. This leader will work across Wholesale with peers leading additional Early Talent Programs (e.g. Wealth, Credit, etc.).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 

  

  • Develops strategy and manages execution for talent acquisition, including campus selection and referrals, and communicates to Wholesale LOB management and enterprise partners.  Adheres to program guidelines with respect to applicant referrals, interview process, and program selection, and keeps internal teammates up to date on candidate referrals
  • Develops annual hiring plan numbers for Analysts and Associates (200+ interns and full-time) with input from all appropriate lines of business (LOBs), and manages the approval process with LOB Leadership and LOB Chief Financial Officers
  • Responsible for developing and communicating the performance expectations for all interns and new full-time Analysts and Associates
  • Manages the analysis and execution for approximately 200 intern full-time offers and responses and develops hiring plan after intern offers across all LOBs
  • Serves as primary point of contact for Group Managers on interns and full-time Analysts
  • Serves as the primary contact for all interns and new hire fulltime teammates during the program and supports their growth during their time in the program post training.
  • Coordinates FINRA licensing in partnership with Truist Compliance
  • Develops and manages annual budgets for recruiting and training for interns and full-time hiring
  • Coordinates the mid-year and annual review process

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of management experience with financial services firm, with a minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in campus recruiting and talent development
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of teammates
  • Ability to work under pressure and interact with senior leaders
  • Excellent communication skills and strong team player

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Confidence speaking to large audiences
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Power Point
  • Strong judgement, execution, and decision-making skills
  • Investment banking experience
