POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for managing, monitoring and administering the talent acquisition program with training and development and benefits responsibilities.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist associates with enrollment, and claims including, but not limited to medical, dental, life insurance, LTD, STD, and vision.
Assist with follow up on all benefit items and claims in a timely manner
Manage Benefits Open Enrollment
Ensure all eligible employees are educated in enrolling in all benefit programs
Conduct insurance benefit meetings at orientation with new associates
Conduct new hire orientation meetings when necessary
Inform all eligible staff or any and all changes in benefit and insurance programs and/or procedures
Manage ACA
Manage the entire Talent Acquisition process from determining department needs, posting, sourcing, interviewing, checking references, referrals, background checks and drug tests, final interviews and onboarding.
Interact in a courteous and professional manner with all staff, guests, and community members
Assist in training opportunities
Assist in performance management process
Attend general and departmental meetings as required
Update any recruitment documents in ADP
Manage associate development plans
Coordinate Monthly Manager’s Meetings
Facilitate portions of orientation
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
Bachelors Degree
Minimum of 1 year experience in HR
Thorough knowledge of Recruitment Processes
Knowledge of Benefit and 401(k) plans
Knowledge of benefit counseling
Ability to access, input, analyze and retrieve information from computers
Ability to maintain excellent relations with staff
Ability to converse calmly with irate employees
Ability to maintain staff confidentiality at all times
