Compensation: $165,000–$185,000/year | Full-Time | Comprehensive Benefits

A leading Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Los Angeles, CA, serving more than 40,000 patients annually, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead all HR functions and drive a culture of engagement, growth, and accountability.

Position Overview

The HR Director provides strategic and hands-on leadership across HR operations, employee relations, compliance, benefits, talent acquisition, and workforce planning. This role partners closely with executive leadership and manages an HR team, ensuring strong HR systems, processes, and organizational alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop HR team members

• Oversee recruitment, retention, and workforce planning

• Manage employee engagement, wellness efforts, and employee relations

• Ensure compliance with CA employment laws and HR regulatory standards

• Manage compensation, benefits, and HR policies

• Oversee HRIS (UKG Pro) and ensure operational efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred

• 8–10+ years progressive HR leadership experience

• Healthcare industry experience required

• SHRM-CP/SCP and bilingual Spanish/English preferred

• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
