POSITION DUTIES - This position serves as the recognized resource for document ADA accessibility; the position works with bureau work areas to ensure internal reference documents, internal training documents, procedural documents, and job aids comply with federal guidelines for ADA accessibility. This position serves in a supporting role for the division, filling the roles of technology support liaison, selections liaison, and training facilitator. This position helps to create internal procedural documents (electronic form), surveys, job aids, and training aids; these can be fill-able PDF forms, Microsoft Forms surveys, Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and other items as needed for use by both internal staff and external customers; the position supports Employee Experience Section staff with weekly reporting, content management, and archiving requirements for procedures in the electronic knowledge base, and provides support for the Bureau of Quality and Customer Experience staff in development, implementation, and ongoing management of programs and policies as needed.
Departmental Technician 10 - Position Description
APPOINTMENT TYPE/BENEFITS - This position is Full-Time. Therefore, you would be eligible to participate in the benefits offered by the state.
Education
Education typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience
Two years of experience as a supervisor of administrative support activities equivalent to the 9-level in state service.
OR
Two years of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 9-level in state service.
OR
Three years of experience as a technician or paraprofessional, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced level in state service.
Departmental Technician 10
Possession of a Bachelor's degree and one year of professional experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.
