The Associate HR Director serves as the HR business partner to lead within a manufacturing site, driving workforce strategy, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. This role focuses on aligning HR initiatives with business goals, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, and providing expert HR guidance to support leadership, employees, and overall company priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Know the Business: Understand business strategy, culture, and leadership style; provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
Workforce Strategy: Develop and execute talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies; implement diversity & inclusion initiatives; ensure workforce is capable, engaged, and motivated.
HR Expertise: Lead HR processes, programs, and metrics; collaborate with HR centers of excellence to deliver innovative solutions and business support.
Balance Stakeholder Needs: Advocate for leadership, employee, and company needs to enable high-quality, objective decision-making.
Leadership in HR Community: Share best practices, contribute to HR improvements, and strengthen the HR function across the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
Significant HR experience, ideally in HR business partnering and/or manufacturing leadership.
Proficient in English and Japanese.
Experience providing HR support to senior leaders and driving organizational change.
